A principal's job is different every day.  Some days are better than others.  The sign in my office always read, "It is what it is."  Principals roll with their day even though they may have a list of things to accomplish.  Usually, that list was done after school...when all was quiet.  Retirement is different.  If you want it to be silent, you get silent.  If you want it to be fun, you do your activities with your friends.  This retirement journey is improving daily, but I still think about students, staff, and the school.  Relating some of these stories will allow me to go back and read them later...when I can't remember anymore!
